Manage Claude Code projects on Mac

Keep local Claude Code sessions tied to their folders.

What RepoScape discovers

RepoScape groups local Claude Code sessions by their working folder. It can show Claude-only projects or combine Claude and Codex conversations when they use the same folder.

Claude cloud conversation Projects are not imported into this local project library. RepoScape keeps folders and repositories as the basis for organization.

Prepare your Mac

  1. Use macOS 13 or later with Claude Code installed.
  2. Install Node.js 18 or later, which RepoScape needs to discover Claude Code sessions.
  3. Start a Claude Code session in the project folder so there is local history to discover.
  4. Open RepoScape, approve folder access if requested, and refresh.

Open a Claude conversation

Choose Claude in the provider filter, then use Last Chat or the recent-chat menu. Desktop opening requires Claude Desktop and a compatible Claude Code Desktop bridge. New Desktop chats first initialize a Claude Code session in the selected project folder, then open that same conversation in Desktop. This uses your Claude allowance and requires Claude Code 2.1.285 or later. The temporary Terminal window closes after a successful transfer; errors remain visible there.

Use the CLI icon for terminal-based actions. Existing chats resume in Claude Code; new conversations start from the selected project folder. Available actions depend on the tools installed on your Mac.

Work with both providers

Choose All to keep both providers visible. Each conversation is labelled and opens in its own tool. New-conversation actions let you choose Codex or Claude where available; reviewed handoffs can carry context to a fresh conversation.

Claude working and unread states appear with their provider label. Project cards and the Claude project overview show each project’s share of recorded Claude tokens for the current Monday–Sunday calendar week. This is separate from your account allowance. Account balances and token analytics remain separate from Codex.

If sessions do not appear

Check Claude Code and Node.js installation, make sure a local session exists in the folder, and clear project filters. Refresh after checking permissions. A cloud-only Claude conversation does not supply a local Claude Code transcript.
