Start with a project folder
Install RepoScape on macOS 13 or later and use your installed Codex desktop app. Open or create a project in Codex, then open RepoScape and approve access to its folder if macOS asks.
RepoScape lists saved Codex projects. Standalone conversations without a saved project do not become extra project cards.
Organize the list
- Use the project search to find a name, path, branch, or chat.
- Pin projects you are actively working on.
- Create tags in the sidebar, then assign them from a project card.
- Choose the Codex filter to focus on Codex projects, or All to include Claude Code history.
If both tools use the same project folder, their conversations appear together with provider labels.
Resume or start a conversation
Use Last Chat to return to the latest conversation. Its adjacent menu lets you select another recent chat or start a new one. The CLI icon offers corresponding actions when the CLI is installed.
Opening an existing conversation without engaging with it does not move it to the top by activity time. Working and unread indicators help distinguish active work from completed responses.
Start fresh with a handoff
Continue in a new conversation when you want a fresh context. Review the generated handoff before sending it. A handoff summarizes useful context; it does not reproduce the entire original conversation.
If a project is missing
Confirm the project is saved in Codex and its folder still exists. Refresh RepoScape, clear filters that may hide it, and check macOS folder access. Previously known projects are retained in RepoScape’s local catalog if Codex data is temporarily unavailable.
